Can't lie, I thought 'Stay With Me' was sung by a black guy, and not a gay white dude. Assumptions are hard to break, but it's a good song either way.

OP, your first clue is the song's popularity. Pale sells. So white rappers (Eminem, Macklemore) and white "reggae" guys (this group) will get lots of play on pop stations.
