white jeans- out of fashion? How to wear?

Anonymous
Can I still wear these? They are in a basic fit- not skinny, but not bootcut. I am 39 if it matters. Any particular way to wear them?
Anonymous
They are not out of fashion according to all the SAH moms at our private school where they are a regular every-day fashion choice.

I don't think white jeans ever go out of fashion. If anything, I would say the cut determines whether it's in fashion or not.

What cut is fashionable and/or not okay? I guess this may be a question in general about pants/jeans.

Clearly I am out of it, so please educate me! I was asking about white because it seemed really trendy at one point recently.

Do you have to be stick thin to wear them?

I used to think that you had to be thin as a stick to wear them. Then I noticed that among a certain group of women, it is white jeans/pants no matter what. Now I wear them all summer. signed, not thin

Definitely in. I have a pair and wear them occasionally. Not thin.

The beauty of white jeans/pants/short is they go with every color. You can't go wrong.

Just started wearing them and definitely not thin. The key is to wear with a tunic that covers your butt !

Also if you can pull them off without a longer top I'd recommend having the front pockets removed do you don't see the lining.

meant " so"

Ann Taylor has some great white jeans with neutral-colored pockets so they don't show through the pants.
