gynecologist recommendations

I'm looking for a gynecologist, ideally one focused on older women, peri/post- menopause issues, etc., is located in NW DC, and takes Fed BCBS.

Honestly I was hoping this thread would come up with some names. I have seen two OBGYNs since moving to the area, one was senile and the other a butcher (woman).

This is 11:14. I just called the office of Drs Nancy Sanders & Janet Schaffel today to see if they were taking new patients but no one answered the phone & no one called me back all day. Anyone see them?

Try Foxhall OBGYN. They are located on the campus of Sibley hospital. Large practice, great doctors who stay in front of the newest technology and developments. I see Dr. Malone. I am also post-meno.

I LOVE Dr. Gloria Bowles-Johnson at Georgetown University Medical Center. I've been going to her for years and she's great. Highly recommend.
