That's the only way Repubs can win. That and serious gerrymandering.

I hope that demographics are on the Democrats’ side in 2020, that we absolutely blow the doors off the GOP and add “fixing gerrymandering and voter suppression to the voluminous list of things that need to be fixed.

Senator Cory Booker, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, and Rep. Ron Kind - key Democrats in Opportunity Zone effort - call today for Treasury Inspector General to investigate potential political influence in selection of areas that benefit from tax break, citing New York Times & ProPublica reporting indicating that former junk bond criminal Michael Milken and NBA owner Dan Gilbert profited from the designations.

More GOP election fraud:

“BREAKING NEWS: Two people have been charged with distributing phony sample ballots. One of those charged is Robert Landon, the Republican candidate for Marion City Auditor. The other charged is John Matthews, a Marion Co. Republican official.”

“Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., introduced a bill this week that would significantly narrow the scope of the program. It would remove hundreds of areas that the original legislation allowed to benefit from the break even though they were not poor, including the two areas of Detroit and Baltimore that ProPublica identified. It would also vastly increase the reporting requirements for those taking advantage of the break and narrow the kinds of investments that would be eligible to receive it.”

I realize it’s a cliche now, but: they can’t win without cheating.

Some Texas counties have started to elect Democratic judges, so the Republican governor and state legislature want to do away with electing judges.

Here’s the REALLY obvious part - they only want do away with electing judges in counties with more than 500,000 people. Small rural counties can keep on voting for THEIR judges.

It’s just funny that buying the bench was fine until the Democrats started to do it.
