Do you not read the news? Did you see the WaPo article about the Irish immgrant married to a US citizen who was thrown into a ICE detention for months with no real way to contact her lawyer for extended periods? Or did you miss the point about them defending an officer who shot a mom repeatedly in the head because she did not respond withing SECONDS to a request to stop her car? Or revoking TPS status for hundreds of thousands of immigrants who are performing vital jobs in the American economy, came here with the government's permission, and suddently overnight because "illegal"?
It's Orwellian -- they just say people are illegal and therefore they can treat them like sh*t -- but the word "illegal" means anyone that they want to treat like sh*t, so it's all circular.
