Good point on roster size. Per the ECNL app, The 2012s have 15 (VDA), 17 (Union) and 16 (Arl). Seems that still allows for good playing time. For 2011, VDA and FVU show 20 and 17 for Arlington. Girls towards the end of the bench at VDA and FVU might benefit from a lot playing time in GA. |
It still kind of works, but the best at it leave to ECNL teams |
Put the drink and hat down. This was case in the past. |
No seriously - I watched a ton of the ECNL Finals and guess what - lots of bootball. It still works at the ECNL finals level. |
| La ga es una liga en declive |
Te equivocas. ECNL será enterrado por GA. |

Go away ECNL parents. This "debate" has already been had ad nauseum.
The parents here just want to discuss this year's GA games and teams. 99% percent of us couldn't care less about about which league is better. GA parents who want to "debate" thus can't y'all do it somewhere else with them? This thread doesn't need to be five people constantly going back and forth ruining it for everyone else. Thank you. |
ECNL parent here. I couldn’t agree more. There is no reason for trolls to be trolling any of these girls. If you figure out how to get them to stop here please let us know so we can stop it on the ECNL threads. Good luck this season to all GA girls. Our girls are friends with most of the GA girls and wish them well. |
| GA Parent here. ECNL teams are generally better teams. The higher rated teams are also generally better and happen to be more present in ECNL. |
| And they are back…… |
Same goes for higher rated GA teams. But don’t be mad at this person. ECNL is better overall by a decent margin…but most ECNL parents won’t admit that GA is growing…slowly. |
Try having your kid play for a a GA club that's better than 95% of the equivalent age ECNL clubs. The parents are so obnoxious. But its all worthwhile when you beat ECNL superclubs in tournaments and "friendlies". Watching parents shuffle off the field in stunned silence is worth its weight in gold. |
Name who you are in the region other than the SYC 2012s who are phenomenal. |
Laughable! As stated by others, it's all good until teams from this are get to Nationals |

Parents to girls who are Juniors in HS now, do all the girls go on to Commit to Play in College from the Team? If so, it does not seem like the clubs post much information about their players who go on to play in College.
From social media, it looks like less than half the girls Commit to go play in College... what has been your experience? We are only U13 now and its a topic not discussed at that level at all. |
