You need to wake up to reality. This predator had access to 2 entire communities of swimmers and their parents deserve to know the details of what happened. And all you’re worried about is the possibility of this thread tarnishing the club’s reputation? Shows where your priorities are. People take ridiculous shots at every single prominent swim club in the DC area, ASA isn’t unique in that regard.

The victims (little children!!!) have a public YouTube account. What the hell is wrong with the parents? All of this is insane. Maybe there is a lot more going on here than reported in the charging documents. Those poor babies. I hope there is a GAL appointed.

Communication-wise, ASA could have done better. They do have parent code of conduct signed by each parent when swimmers join ASA. just saying...

ASA parent here. You said it’s about the kids and parents who’ve given ASA a great reputation. I agree. Good for us. I’m proud to be with ASA. I’d add it’s mainly about the victims that have come forward and any other victims out there without the courage to come forward. “Swim parent arrested” would’ve been too vague of a headline given that there’s thousands of swimmers in the DMV. The specific communities should’ve been alerted to ensure we identify all the victims. Proud ASA parent signing off.

The mother of two of the victims reported to the Post that she was warned by a neighbor that there had been a previous claim of sexual abuse against this man.

And yet she chose to leave her daughter and son alone with him while she took a nap and her husband went shopping.

This is for 14:58. Most parents still don’t understand what’s going on under their noses. They passively believe men should be trusted alone with their little children without even raising an eyebrow.

We all need to be talking about the inherent dangers. Of course random women should also be vetted, but child sex abuse by women is much more uncommon. That’s just a fact.
