They’re called talking points, halfwit.

Isn't it quite astounding how the MSM has no issue parroting the talking points sent out by the DNC.
It's almost as if the MSM is an arm of the DNC!

I’m sure that seems like what is happening in your radicalized brain that can only think in conspiracy theories.

Oh, sweetie. There is nothing "seems like" about it. This is very much what is happening.
And, the MSM is ready to comply. The bat signal went up and the left and its proxies... the media.... all got it.

+100 So obvious what is going on. The mainstream media is a mouthpiece for Democrats. Luckily more people are waking up to the lies and propaganda by listening to other things like podcasts. CNN viewership numbers are embarrassingly bad.

You guys are such little whiners. You have a victim mentality. The whole world has to be against you and it’s just so unfair. Cry all you want. You picked a Nazi to run for president and when people call him a nazi, it’s not unfair. Delicate little fascist snowflakes. Wah wah wah the media is unfair!!

The media was a mouthpiece for "Biden is too old" for weeks if not months. And "luckily more people are waking up..." reads like cope.

But doubtful it will work with middle aged and older Democrats that she needs to win. For the most part, older Democrats I know think some of what the party supports is weird. Remember the political appointed bald guy with red lipstick that stole ladies suitcases from airports? Remember the drag queens and trans influencers on the White House lawn and one went topless? These things are weird by definition. Calling women birthing people is weird. So for older voters, I think the messaging should call Trump what he is, convicted felon, rapist, insurectionist, etc. Just calling Trump weird actually downplays how dangerous he is and his administration would be.

I am middle age and my family is old and trust me. We've been thinking these people are weird for a very long time

+1 I'm in my mid-40s and my parents/in-laws are in their late 70s and we all agree that Vance and Trump are weird, and that the cult-like devotion of their followers (taping maxi pads to their ears?) is also weird.

Remember that most of Gen X spent our critical early years in the Free to Be You and Me era, and that today's Boomers are the ones who raised us. They thought it was great that Sesame Street taught us about racial integration, public transportation, and breastfeeding on-screen. They gave us gender neutral toys and dressed us in matching corduroy overalls with our brothers.

They are also from the generation where women died from lack of access to reproductive healthcare and couldn't get checkbooks until they were in their 20s without their dad or husband to sign off.

They don't want to go back, and neither do we.

+1

Weird.

Very.

Completely unserious campaign by a person who failed a bar exam because she lazy and not smart.

Trump has been oozing ick for decades.

Where are JD Vance's high school, military, and Ohio State University ex girlfriends before he began dating his now wife at age 26 to tell us how all-American normal and non-creepy he is? ............

Sorry "Weird" is so triggering for you snowflakes. Thoughts and Prayers.

Why does Vance wear eyeliner? Who is he trying to appeal to with that?

All politicians (and really anyone on the television screen) wears makeup. It's just that Vance wears it *badly.*

This is a funny parody video, but the thing it gets right is the way conservative politicians do their makeup to mimic having been wearing sunglasses outside: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dV_J8TRlBqE

Once you see it, it's hard to un-see.

As for why Vance's makeup is so badly done, I'm guessing that Vance & Co have alienated a core demographic that includes a lot of makeup professionals.

The party that wants to ban anything remotely 'female' crossing into 'male' territory sure does like their makeup.

My husband and I are 60 years old and we find Trump and Vance "weird" we've been talking about Trump's declining intellect for years now. Our grown children also find Trump advance "weird" Remember, people our age have mothers who were limited with buying a house, being able to have a credit card, etc. My mother was trapped in marriage to my father for many, many years. And she had way too many kids. So lack of access to abortion and the ability to stand on her own 2 feet limited her. I don't wanna go backwards. I just wanna go forward.

The media spent the last year and a half on BIDEN OLD and before that, “here’s why that’s bad for Biden” after any and every victory or sign of strength and you want us to play along with your delusion that the media is “liberal”? Yes, you might yourself be “weird.” The media is a series of corporations, right wing corporations. They’re just getting clicks on the happy stuff for once so that’s where they’re going.

I agree not every message will hit with every voter. But my 90 year old Catholic, both-party voters in a swing state think Trump and Vance are weird. They liked Biden but were sad about how old he was; my dad was not crazy about Harris until she started doing more appearances but now they’ve both decided they like her. One data point with two votes for Harris but then again neither of them voted for Trump either time (even though they really hated Hillary, they just thought Trump was a terrible person).

Totally normal for a grown man to leer at underage girls. Yeah, Trump’s totally not weird. 🙄

The inconsistency is a wonder, isn’t it?

“Weird” is a kind description of Trump and Vance. They are delusional sociopaths.

Fortunately Harris can walk and chew gum. Her campaign is also doing the things you suggest.
