Travis and Taylor

Taylor is an intellectual ? LOL she didn't go to college. She is VERY smart but, no she isn't sitting around talking about Nietzsche like a PP said. smart comes in a variety of packages and it looks from the outside like taylor and travis are at the same level -

I agree they may be at the same level. They are socially smart. Business smart. And talented in their fields. Not intellectual.

We can talk about this all day. Long back-and-forth for years. What it comes down to —do they develop a relationship. I get a little impression from pictures that she doesn’t like him as much as he likes her.

That’s all I gotta say.

NP. If you think you need to attend college to be smart or well-read, you are not intelligent.

I think opposites attract. He handled it all with a lot of charm AGAIN this week on his podcast. Wow he is smooth, like good with words, joking but if you print what he says word for word it’s very by the book and appropriate. She would not be in bustiers 24/7 for him if she wasn’t just as into him. As a woman clothes say a lot. I just think his approach to uncomfortable questions or comments could lithe a case study one day in PR, that is the kind of smart you need in todays Tik Tok society.

Does she really need to be with someone known for their brains? One thing I think they have going for them as a couple is that they are very successful in what they are doing but they each have their own lane. Relating it back to my boring life which has me far too invested in this, think of couples you know who have the exact same job and get competitive with each other. No good.

Let’s face it.. she’s going to be smarter and more successful than 99% of other famous people. This guy gets being in the limelight and working hard, isn’t intimidated by her success or the paparazzi that follows her around, seemingly appreciates her talent, and seems to be treating her really well. And yes, many would agree he is smoking hot. Does he need to be Einstein on top of it? I don’t think so.

The fact that he is handling the entire Taylor fan circus as well as he is tells me that’s he’s actually very intelligent.

DP. Not it doesn’t. He has a whole team of people managing his career. I doubt he’s dumb but c’mon listening to the professionals telling you what to do doesn’t make you intelligent.

I’d look business smart too if my parents were stock brokers who hired teams of business people to manage my business. The tale of Taylor’s business acumen is told in Ms Americana when she walks into a team meeting dressed like a teenager around a
Conference table full of men and women in suits.
She may be smart but she isn’t in charge of the business.

She’s the moneymaker, she can dress however she wants.

That is her showing her privilege due to wealth. It isn’t very empathetic to her team. Why doesn’t she direct them to have a company culture to dress down as do many startups?
She is providing a product that is well marketed and allows her team to develop more products and make lots of money.
The meeting told the story: defend her choices if you want. It made me understand the boss girl mantel she has been give isnt the real story. YMMV

She is their employer; she does not need to impress them by dressing a certain way. They have the jobs that they have because she exists and puts in the work. But I love that you think she needs to show them more respect by dressing in a way that some rando deems appropriate.

All you are doing is saying she has more power and should be able to tromp on the people who work for her by not following the workplace culture norms everyone else in the meeting clearly followed.

That isn’t something a strong boss would do. She isn’t a girl boss. She is talent and a commodity for her business people to promote. They do a good job!

Doesn’t surprise me that he would let friends live with him — makes it easy to find a pet sitter when he’s out of town. Does he live in KC year round or only during the season?

I don't see that at all.

Yes, and they both were guided by parents who were savvy. Taylor Swift, the Kardashians, the Kelce Brothers, Pippa and Kate Middleton--all had very savvy mothers.
