One thing I think they have going for them as a couple is that they are very successful in what they are doing but they each have their own lane. Let’s face it.. she’s going to be smarter and more successful than 99% of other famous people. This guy gets being in the limelight and working hard, isn’t intimidated by her success or the paparazzi that follows her around, seemingly appreciates her talent, and seems to be treating her really well. And yes, many would agree he is smoking hot. Does he need to be Einstein on top of it? I don’t think so.

The fact that he is handling the entire Taylor fan circus as well as he is tells me that’s he’s actually very intelligent.

Sometimes I wonder if a lot of TS straight female fans are women who haven’t been in many relationships and have done all their dating vicariously through Taylor— because some of the conclusions they draw about men and relationships with them are truly puzzling.

Are they discussing Nietzsche into the wee hours of the night? Does anyone? Intelligence and being an intellectual are not the same. Emotional, social, practical, and political intelligence is quite important for success in navigating life as well. Being grounded, family-centered, and having Midwestern values and sensibilities might also be a plus.

Someone who played QB in HS and college before transitioning to TE, was drafted by Andy Reid (picks brainy guys), is an integral component of a veritable franchise dynasty, is a multi-year pro bowler, is quick witted, possesses comedic timing, and will likely be a first-ballot hall of famer, is far from dumb.
