Does this Taylor Swift fling with the NFL football brute seem super fake?

Long term Taylor Swift would need to be with someone who has a similar drive and imagination. Maybe Kelce is a good guy and this is fun and all-American, which is on brand for TS, but ultimately I don't see her enjoying the partner who is successful now but otherwise seems to wait for opportunities to come to him. She is a strategist and would likely want someone for the long haul who thinks like she does.

You don't achieve at Travis Kelce's level in sports and commercially by "waiting for opportunities" to come to you.

He's one of the best to ever play in his position, he's got a ton of commercial deals, and he has a sibling who also made it to the NFL at the highest level. It's clear they were both raised to chase after success.

I don't think he's not strategic. A scripted PR romance with TS benefits him a lot more than it benefits her.

I have started to wonder what 40 year old T. Swift looks like. I think she's going to stay single and childfree. I don't think we've ever had a woman who was this famous/prominent and watched her age into her 40s without a marriage framework to define her by (like Jennifer Aniston never married or had kids but those topics were absolutely defining for her public persona). Taylor could actually break the stigma, I think. Though it could also backfire because I personally would not want a 5'11" mega-successful millionaire to be the standard by which people evaluate my lifestyle.

Stevie Nicks is unmarried and childless. Bonnie Raitt, Dolly Parton, also childless but I believe were or are married. There's nothing new about childless singers. Successful people probably don't regret it as much as a regular childless person might.

Dolly was married and quietly divorced. I believe they still live nearby each other and maybe he lives in the compound.

He was rarely seen publicly with her.

Just want to point out Dolly's still married - she talked about her DH a couple of months ago.

Right -- this is what makes him so perfect for this. He has his money. It will not end when he stops playing. Quaterbacks, tight ends and white running backs are guaranteed a spot on network broadcasts. His endorsements were off the charts before this. Unless she is going to hook up with some billionaire oil guy from Texas this is pretty perfect for her.

What white running back is in the booth? The last few that i can think of that have switched to TV are LDT and Tiki Barber, but I'm sure there are others
