Does this Taylor Swift fling with the NFL football brute seem super fake?

Well hot guys like him usually don’t settle down

How bout she’s how old and is enjoying her life? Her youth. Who says she even wants to be married? How old is she? Couldn’t have paid me to marry in my 20’s and sure wouldn’t as famous as she is although I’m not a fan.

She's not in her 20s.

I have started to wonder what 40 year old T. Swift looks like. I think she's going to stay single and childfree. I don't think we've ever had a woman who was this famous/prominent and watched her age into her 40s without a marriage framework to define her by (like Jennifer Aniston never married or had kids but those topics were absolutely defining for her public persona). Taylor could actually break the stigma, I think. Though it could also backfire because I personally would not want a 5'11" mega-successful millionaire to be the standard by which people evaluate my lifestyle.

I watched the video of the podcast this morning. He seems in love to me.

They are in fact perfect for each other. They are the same age. They are both young for that age never had to grow up. He is rich enough (likely 30-50 million as he is not a crazy spender and has always invested) not to be with her for her money even though she has 20 times (likely a billion) what he does. He does not own a jet but he does and can fly netjets on his own dime. He is ok with the press and being in public. He is already famous -- getting more so but likely can handle.

She just came out of a realtionship and is being pursued by this NFL guy. She is having fun. May turn out to be nothing. Let her live her life. I don't buy the idea she is gay. I think she has her own plans and her own ideas.

If she wants to get married and have kids, has to be super careful about who she does both with. Connected for life, very expensively. Look at the payouts Britney Spears and Madonna were required to give their exes with whom they had kids. Plus the problem with her dating other mega stars is that neither of them would be around for each other let alone children.

Even with a prenup she is probably earning so much every year that she would be massively exposed in a divorce. And what high profile relationships actually last?

Right -- this is what makes him so perfect for this. He has his money. It will not end when he stops playing. Quaterbacks, tight ends and white running backs are guaranteed a spot on network broadcasts. His endorsements were off the charts before this. Unless she is going to hook up with some billionaire oil guy from Texas this is pretty perfect for her.

GMA said KC football game ticket sales are through the roof now! Is Taylor maybe running a consulting biz? Not that she needs to diversify assets, but it is smart and fun if so? #girlboss? lol

What white running back is in the booth? The last few that i can think of that have switched to TV are LDT and Tiki Barber, but I'm sure there are others

Stevie Nicks is unmarried and childless. Bonnie Raitt, Dolly Parton, also childless but I believe were or are married. There's nothing new about childless singers. Successful people probably don't regret it as much as a regular childless person might.

Dolly was married and quietly divorced. I believe they still live nearby each other and maybe he lives in the compound.

He was rarely seen publicly with her.

This is where I think she'll end up eventually. Not necessarily a Texas oil billionaire, but some type of mega-rich non-celebrity once the wave of her fame has crested.

DP and I don't see Kelce going in that direction. I think he is angling for a "The Rock" type of career when he's done playing football which makes this whole thing a great PR move for him.

I was thinking of Moose Johnston.

Darn, prices have been through the roof for years now. That's a major downside of this debacle. There goes any chance of the regular working class family to bring their kids to a Chiefs game.

Although my husband said as fanatical as fans are at Arrowhead, he doesn't feel certain it's a great or safe environment for kids. Lots of self centered adults cussing and being inappropriate and trying to pick fights with each other. And our kid is no stranger to bad language, but it's more intimidating in that atmosphere.

I don't understand the hate towards Brittany. At all. I live in KC.

People hate on Brittany Mahomes because she isn't "humble" and people think an average-looking girl who lucked into her station in life (they've been together since high school, long before he had NFL prospects) should be more humble. I don't agree (I am neutral on her) but that's at the root of it.

That's what Serena Williams did after she had achieved GOAT status--married a rich tech guy. They seem pretty happy.

Chiefs are the reigning super bowl champions and have gone to three of the last super bowls. Selling out was a given no matter what.

He also doesn't come with family baggage. UMC upbringing and his only sibling is also a rich pro football player.
