Oh that poor kid. I always felt for Dawn's kids. I don't know if that is the person you are talking about, but she would bring those poor boys on TV and rant and rave like a lunatic. They did NOT want to be sitting next to her at all. For someone in mental health services, she sure stinks at making sure her kids are emotionally safe.

Is she as much of a bully as the current members of the BOE who sat in silence while Kristin Mink labeled Muslims practicing their faith as white supremacists? Or as much of a bully as Lynne “I seek student input but only if they agree with me” Harris who dismissed a Muslim student who testified before the BOE as spouting dogma?

Actually she is, but your point doesn’t really hit the way you think it does. Do you think it’d be better to replace one of them with another bully? Nah. We need to get rid of toxic people altogether in the BoE not pick between the lesser of two evils (which again, isn’t even the case here as she is far worse than either of these two)

Agree they obviously would prefer a meek person who is ineffective at their job and easily cowed.

Could you imagine, having your planning periods taken away everyday to cover as a sub ( even though proper planning time is contractually stipulated). Then to have your job threatened through review that you don't have good enough plans. The fact that the union and the admin will bully teachers because teacher can't perform in the corrupt toxic environment that they created. Welcome to teaching newbies. Good luck teaching without any support and crazy entitled students.
