Micah and her mom have the most irritating vocal fry. Is it hereditary?

Don't think so based on recent pic and reunion ep promo.

Well hopefully soon. She's 37.

This seems to confirm the theory that we need a 30+ season...

She looked gorgeous but did Tiffany change her dress??

I mean...maybe he's a fan of the show, and has data on the percentage of successful couples to come out of it?

I'll tell you what, my husband would NEVER accept a guy who didn't choose our daughter first. I think he's right to cast doubt to try to spare his daughter the inevitable divorce.

I mean honestly I kind of see what you're saying but the percentages on the couples that actually get married are pretty decent. Of the 6 couples to get married on the show, 4 are still married (although I'll give you that Colleen and Matt are pretty dicey). This season adds an unprecedented 3 to the pile. But honestly all things considered that's kind of shockingly good considering the circumstances.

I basically agree with the poster after me though which is that he didn't need to air out all his judgement on national TV because all that does is allow him to gloat publicly if they don't make it. It embarasses her. Not kind.

He voiced his concerns on camera when they met and at the wedding (and presumably Bliss spoke with him between the two events). He could have held his tongue so not to pee on her parade at the actual wedding. Even if he had just been silent with a menacing look on his face it would have been a million times better. I’m glad Bliss was adult about it and stuck to her decision despite his distaste for Zach. TBH, if I had such a difficult father — who has already had a marriage sour and likely is not in good terms with at least one of his children (the older sister he said that cruel remark about) — I wouldn’t put much stock into what he was saying. He seems like the type of guy who intimidates and yells. I got the vibe he doesn’t let his current wife speak. Luckily, Bliss has support from her mother and sisters.

Agreed. Bliss' mom's reaction also made it clear that she was over his commentary.

Yes, and did you notice when asked who was giving away this bride he said "I do" while her mom said "we do." I know it may have just been a slip of the tongue but I think it reveals his mindset in general. Love how her mom said that she would be Zach's mom, too.

I noticed and I loved how Bliss' mom gently countered the narrative that the dad was pushing right before she walked down the aisle.
There's a clear reason they got divorced and it was seemingly for the best!

I need to go back and rewatch, but I think so. She looked beautiful, but I dont think that it was a flattering style for the camera. Also, her makeup was not great.

I agree that they will probably divorce at some point. We already have an example of a couple where the woman was the second choice with iyanna and Jarrett and that ended in divorce.

However, I think the issue is bliss and her dad’s relationship does not appear to be at a place where his advice is welcome. And instead it comes across as him not trusting his daughter’s judgment.

I personally think there are a lot of red flags about Zach. On TikTok I saw a video with someone doing parodies about all the contestants and for him she said “I construct a series of tests for potential partners to avoid showing them who I really am”. And I thought that was pretty spot on.

She clearly can. Kinda puts the whole “my dad never thinks anyone I date is good enough” in perspective.

Iyanna and Jarette divorced because he was a party animal and not ready for marriage.
Bliss and Zach both seem ready.
And I actually think that relationships where the man is super into his wife because she's out of his league, work better than the reverse.
I also disagree that Zach hasn't showed us the real him. He was guarded the first day or so in the pods, but after that. I feel that he shared a lot about his insecurities and vulnerability.

This just confirms that being mean and condescending in life, gets you nowhere. Notice how all the mean girls ended up, alone with a bad reputation. Irina, Micah and Jackie. You are the company you keep.
Let this be a lesson

I guess this is no different than arranged marriages and matchmaking of the past. Those who signed up for this with the honest intentions of finding marriage, not to be a reality star, got what they sought. I thought this season seemed less scripted, showing real and true emotions from their friends and family. There wasn’t anything wrong with Bliss’s dad’s reaction; it is only natural to doubt the premise of the show and future SIL
