Short hair on tall women

| I've had the same haircut, more or less, for 20 years - a chin length on. I'm thinking about a short haircut a la Michelle Williams. But she's tiny and I'm almost 6 feet tall. Thoughts on shot hair o. Talk women? What's the secret for making it work? Not sure what I'm afraid of... That I'll look manly or like a pinhead I guess. |

| I know a couple of lovely tall women with very short (think boy cut) hair. They both have striking facial features and are slender. They look great. |

| I'm 5'10" with a pixie. I love it! If you have a tiny head in relation to your body, maybe you need to be worried, but otherwise, it should look fine. Look at photos and talk to your stylist about what you like, and get some input on what they think will flatter your face. You don't have to be petite to rock short hair! |

OP here - thanks!! I have an appointment tomorrow to get it cut and am a little nervous but excited. Glad for the encouragement.

| Well... I think it's risky for anyone but can be really striking if you can pull it off. I think being slender might be key. I have a friend who is beautiful faced but relatively broad shoulders who is your height and from the back she looks like a man. |
