| I don't understand why this song gets so much radio time. It has no discernible melody, overused lyrics and altogether just plain boring. How is this song on Billboard's top 10?? |
| Positive message and a great voice. |
| You need to learn to love its perfect imperfections. |
| It's old now. It will be gone soon enough. |
| No discernible melody? The chorus is plenty discernible, especially since his voice cracks. I'll give you a-a-a-ll of me, crack, crack squeak, squeak. Like the song but not the singing! |
| Agreed completely. When the kids are in the car with me they want to listen to the today's hits type radio stations (otherwise I wouldn't listen to them)...there's three that we usually cycle through and I swear to god that song is always playing on at least one of them! Also Happy by Pharrell (but that's slowed down a bit I think) and Not a Bad Thing by JT. Super annoying! |

"Angie" by the Rolling Stones has perfect imperfections. The John Legend song is just plain amateur. My 8 year old could right a better melody/lyric. |
Right. |
Because it's a beautiful song. I guess you are more into rap music. |
? that is just a weird comment. |
+1 There are a lot of songs on the Billboard top 100 that I don't like, but at least they have some sort of melody or even a beat. |
LOL! I think there are waaaay worse songs on the radio than "All of Me". |
| I'm not sure you know what a "melody" is if you don't think this song has one. |
|
It's very melodic. I love it.
And PP, we're in the same boat - kids live top 40!! It's the first time in years I know every single pop hit out there. |
