What is Your Age and How Long is Your Menstrual Cycle?

| I wonder if my menstrual cycle is strange for my age. I am 42 and my menstrual cycle is 30 days long! |

I'm 35 and my cycle has always been long. like 38-42 days long.  This may have something to so with my long distance running though.

Your cycle is normal - "they" consider normal the range betwin 22 and 36 days.
I am 30 y. old and my cycle has always been betwin 28 and 33 days (when I was on pill it was very regular, but then, it was not really a cycle). |

Well last year it was typically about 25 or 26 days. Now my cycles are quite a bit longer and I'm not sure what it means. I am supposed to start my meds as soon as I get my LH surge. But it's day 16 now of my cycle and I have yet to get that surge. Nurse says I'm late. So this is a particularly long cycle and last few months have been the same - long. Does it mean anything to have your menstrual cycle go from 26 days up to 30-32 days? Could acupunc be responsible? |

| Later than average cycles can be due to many factors, including stress. |

36 - cycle is 29 days
Funny thing is that I am regular for the first time in my life. During my teen years and TTC years (the only times I wasn't on the pill) my cycles ranged from 30 days to 5 months and I rarely ovulated. Now, I am like clockwork. We had to use IVF to get pregnant. Go figure? |

| 39 and 28.5 days (will come in the morning one month, the the evening the next . . .). It fluctuated more until I started acupuncture for TTC. |

| 33 and ranges from 31 to 38 days. Before DC it was usually around 42 days. Cycles are always long, but it's the unpredictability that kills me, as we are trying for #2. |

| A 30-day long cycle is completely normal! Most women do not have a 28-day cycle. You should read the book called "Taking Charge of Your Fertility", it will explain it all to you. Don't worry about it, there is really nothing to worry about! |
