Staying at a friend' beach house

We are in OCNJ staying st a friends beautiful home for free. 5 days.

What can I leave for them to say thank you??

We have a beach house and people stay occasionally when we aren't there. Just as a benchmark to give you a sense of what it may be costing your friends, utilities and cleaning cost us about $300-350 for a week (that's the utilities used that otherwise wouldn't be used if the house was vacant).

Nice gifts we've gotten include wine, nice serving dishes, gift certificates for nice restaurants, gift certificate for the local hardware store, etc.

That's about the size of my condo. I would estimate that my costs for a weekend visitor are about $150 to $200.

That's about the size of my condo. I would estimate that my costs for a weekend visitor are about $150 to $200.

Sounds about right. Cleaning will be at least $100.

There is a very specific list of cleaning to do before we leave. We are the only friends that ever stayed here. It's just family.

I'm happy to clean very well! We would do that anywhere. I got a nice bottle of scotch and two bottle of wine and a gift certificate for Uncle Bills pancake house where they like to eat with their two kids in the morning.
