The repost didn’t work either. Use this link, then scroll down to where it links to the amicus brief itself.

That's just embarrassing.

Yes basically they say trump because he is an former president has sovereign immunity and Biden does not. Therefore trump can not do anything illegal or be sued but Biden can.

Once again, Trump's stupidity getting in his own way. LOL

Most of us find this hysterical but of course Jonathan Turley seems bewildered.

Turley is this close to figuring out that Trump’s lawyers won’t engage in subordination of perjury. The man beclowns himself with panache.

Can you explain subordination of perjury? You mean the lawyers know that the documents are not, in fact, declassified so they won't get involved in saying that they were?

It is a federal crime to introduce, or cause to be introduced, testimony or other evidence, including an affidavit, known to be materially false.

Subordination prosecutions are rare but would you put your license to practice law on the line for Trump in a circumstance such as this? It appears none of them will do so. They gave away the game.

That or they just can’t find anyone willing to perjure themselves for the cause, yet. They’ll talk conservative media all day but they’re not going to actually put up evidence. What’s new???

Hasn't Kash Patel said repeatedly that he was there when Trump waved his hands and said everything was declassified? Why isn't anyone asking him why he is unwilling to put that in writing, to support Trump's cause?

“K$H” — as he refers to himself — is busy publishing Trump hagiographies with D’Souza in the guise of children’s books. Grifting is a full time job.

Curious isn’t it.

They aren’t going to attempt to establish the documents are declassified because that would also establish that TFG had specific knowledge about the seized documents (which are clearly classified, or at least were at the time they were purloined).

Anywho. Yer boy is a criminal, cons.

I realize the comparison upsets delicate maga but this is precisely how dictatorships and fascist governments work. It’s the old in groups and out groups and it’s frustrating to see how tribal and stupid Republicans continue to be.

A bit curious that Kash has gone silent on this particular issue...Donnie should be worried about that.

He has criminal exposure because he probably handled those documents without the proper clearance. His public statements seem to suggest that at least.

I think the cult members are finding that in the real world, just because Trump posts something on "Truth Social" (LOL.. can't say that with a straight face), it doesn't mean it's really true. Or they think the entire legal system, even Trump appointed judges, have it out for them.

Paranoia is real in the cult.
