Laura Lippman's “What the Dead Know” was so good. |
I want Gregory MaGuire's Wicked to be done, not the Broadway treatment, but actually following the book.
Childhood's End by Arthur C Clarke At Bertram's Hotel by Agatha Christie Neuromancer by William Gibson Any of the "Cat Who" series by Lilian Braun |
Unfortunately, Neuromancer would end up looking like a derivative of the Matrix.
Given the success of Game of Thrones, I'd like to see the Wheel of Time series, but, the odds of that are pretty slim. The Dresden Files could be done well. |
Did you see the small screen version (on SciFi)? If so, was it any good? |
The Sunne in Splendor by Sharon Kay Penman. I asked her once about it and someone bought the rights many years ago but doesn't want to make it. |
The Lytton family trilogy by Peggy Vincenzi. |
Wrinkle in Time--the made for TV movie done several years ago was so horrible. |
To Kill a Mockingbird -though I know you can't beat the original movie, but it is one of my most favorite stories and I think it could be redone really nicely. |
The Lonely Polygamist by Brady Udall. |
Wizardsea books from Ursula LeGuin |
Yes. It was pretty well done, although there were far too few of them. Terrance Mann was an inspired choice as "Bob". The shows are available on Amazon Prime. |
Was this the one about Richard III? Or am I totally off here? |
That's the one. |
I have always thought that "Amelia Bedelia" would be fantastic for a kid's movie. |
Another one of John Grisham's.
How come his books have stopped becoming movies? Also, how about "The Glass Castle?" Please...No more V.C. Andrew's Books! These books were made to stay books. When made into movies, they are horrific. |
