What book do you want to appear on the big screen?

The Belgariad by David Eddings.

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. Anyone who grew up on Sci-Fi, Comics, Video Games, Rock Music, in the 70's and 80's will love this blast from the past. And it could make the most amazing movie if done well.

Some of the Valdemar stories from Mercedes Lackey, although I do think the ones with true magic are better than just the ones with Herald's magic. While those are good YA reading, they probably don't translate to the screen as well.

Obsidian Trilogy by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory

The Expats by Chris Pavone. It was optioned twice and then bought outright but the movie never came about. It would make for an amazing movie.

Billion Dollar Whale

I can't believe it is a true story. Leo, Jaime Foxx, Paris Hilton, etc. can all play themselves.

Dan Simmons' Hyperion series (4 books). It would be a mammoth undertaking, but would be amazing in the hands of the right director who can handle sci-fi.

I LOVED this audiobook (I think being able to actually hear Rocky was key, personally) but I'm curious about how it would work as a movie. I did like The Martian though, and that was also mostly a one-man show so it could be good. Surely it'll get picked up.

It’s Earthsea, and I concur!

I’d also like to see the Poisonwood Bible.

Any of the "Cat Who" series by Lilian Braun
