Kane started therapy and went on meds, and then he was in an accident and likely went on additional meds.

Unless he had a stroke, he's abusing something...because the slurring is abundantly apparent.

He's said on the show numerous times through out the years that him and Natasha had a tumultuous relationship. Also bragged about being a piece of shit to women back in the day. So I think that can be easily assumed that he did step out while they were dating. Jury is out whether he did that in marriage

IJ = With age comes experience and he'll realize that he never should've commented on the Danni situation. Now he's boxed himself into a corner, especially if PB does come aboard. I do think he & Kane have a genuine friendship... But then again, I thought that about IJ/Kane and Danni too

Danni = I feel for her if she was fired, but she has been given a lot more wiggle room than any of the other cohosts, past and present. She's been out sick way more than anyone else (not including her maternity leave, that is obviously justified). Everyone else sticks to the "2 long vacations per year" schedule, but she had to take off even more to go find herself at a silent retreat? Please. Divorce is awful but she's been so self-indulgent about it... Her journey, her struggle, ah how she overcomes! It's a horrible thing to go through but plenty of women and men manage to get through it without taking extended "find myself" vacations and patting themselves on the back every 5 minutes for persevering.

Hope the show can pull through... Alternatives like EITM bore me to tears, but this circus is ridiculous.

Exactly. But you had written that it was Mel who bullied Danni, which is definitely not true at all. I've never been a fan of Mel, but she was the one that was shoved off to the curbs because Danni didn't mesh well with her. Not the previous poster, but I remember he brought up stories of him cheating multiple times. One time, he was dating Nat, he was sick, Nat brought food over for him, and he had another girl inside of his apartment.

Kane did not cheat on Natasha. Their marriage ended because she was unhappy. He was never there for her or his girls. She was tired of it. He cared more about his "radio family" and you see where that has gone! Every weekend or holidays he would work, Nat tried, but he didn't get help. He's very controling!!

The description of each person it's pretty spot on, but to Danni's add with age comes maturity too. I think in the future she will learn to reserve herself as well. There's such a thing as over sharing, and that's what she did. She says one thing, then later flip flops it to suit herself. She is much like Kane in being a cobtrol freak. Tehn when her house of cards fell, she turned into a mess. I think Kane is not in need of rehab, I just think his meds makes him groggy in the morn and sluggish. It's apparent he's trying to sound upbeat. I think he's sad.

I have never been a Danni fan-for all the reasons we have all discussed-but it seems pretty obvious now that we were right all along about the Danni situation. It seems that something happened and she was tossed out-along with a non-disclosure agreement which opens the door for Kane and the rest of the show to keep spewing complete lies (once again) to us, the radio "family" (bullcrap). The shit that IJ was saying to me on Facebook (technical difficulties, bad headsets, no sound) is just more infuriating now that we are starting to get more of the real story. Then he went on to lie to others saying it was planned time off and blah blah.
If any of them really do read this thread, the only thing that they can do at this point to restore any faith from what's left of their fans-is to be truthful. Or at least as truthful as they can be (legally). Who knows what the real reason for Danni being let go was-Kane's crazy ego, or he bad attitude-but this whole "let's pretend it's not Happening because our viewers are dumb as a box of hair anyway" is bull crap

That's what I think as well. There are days he wakes up and knows he won't be able to function (because of the meds) and that's when the show goes into re-runs.

A friend's husband was prescribed Xanax for his anxiety and depression and it made him sound like how Kane sounds, like his tounge is swollen in his mouth. He couldn't pronounce words properly a day if he talked too fast, they just all slurred together. It was very annoying. The medication also made him very insensitive to others feelings. She would say it made his tounge and his heart numb. He eventually had to go off them and go to something time released.
