Mace is batshit crazy but this may be a stopped clock situation. She's said she is a rape victim and has pushed for abortion exemptions for victims of rape and incest. This seems very personal for her and she's been on the (rightish) side when it comes to sexual assault and abuse of women so I actually believe she was moved by these women and will probably do the right thing here.
