I don't think she needs to meet MAGA standards, because MAGA standards are their own level of awful! Kristi Noem just looks trashy to me, for example. But there is a happy medium between stripper grandma a la Kristi and and sickly grandma a la Usha.

Not what I would do nor am I a Vance fan, but I kind of love it that Usha does the bare minimum to be presentable.

As someone who looks very similar to her but is 10 years older (at least), I think she could do better. She's also a SAHM now, so it's not like she can "I'm a busy attorney" anymore. I mean, I guess at least she threads her eyebrows and lip, yay!

Its a tribal look there but she does well to avoid that. Usha's normal human look is the only good thing about the administration.

I feel the same way. Her husband's a turd, but I love that she's opted out.

I think she looks fine. I think they are both awful people but she clearly is wearing light makeup and did brush her hair (it’s just got natural frizz to it which she probably can’t get rid of without a major blowout within 2 hours of photo). I appreciate that she hasn’t gone MAga-makeover. I do wonder if she’s wondering how she somehow ended up spending a signficant amount of time at Catholic religious events. Especially ones in Latin.

We spend pages and pages talking about how those women look awful. Why wouldn’t she feel confident next to them.? They also look bad, just a different kind of bad.
