its been a month, we've had sex etc…I really, really like him, but for the no tongue thing. What gives? is this something that can be corrected? I've never experienced this before and kind of at a loss.

Agree. It is either 1 of two things. He doesn't like the way you kiss, or he's been told he's a bad french kisser and is embarrassed to do it. I dated a guy who was a terrible french kisser. A mix of eating my face and shoving his tongue down my throat. Once we'd been dating for awhile I finally came clean, but at the beginning I mostly didn't french kiss him. When you try to french kiss him, what does he do? |

I haven't really tried, because I don't know what to do about the situation…so I don't think its me, because it isn't like I'm shoving my tongue down his throat,more like waiting for him with extremely gentle prodding…but nothing. |

My gut tells me he has been told in the past that he is a lousy kisser so now he is really insecure about his kissing skills. Perhaps you can coax him by taking the lead and encouraging him to simply follow?...
Or maybe he is a germ-a-phobe (Hello Howie Mandel?) and doesn't enjoy swapping spit on a day to day basis.) It it's the latter, that really sucks because unfortunately they do not make Purell for the mouth. Either way, sorry OP. |

| It's funny, something similar happened to me. We had a couple dates with nothing - no kissing, no fooling around, etc. Then, things finally happened and he went straight for my boobs and then was taking off his pants. I tried kissing him but he almost seemed to ignore it. Honestly, even though we had great conversations, the lack of kissing really threw me, I've never had that happen to me before. I asked my guy friends about it and they couldn't give me any answers. I ended up breaking it off with him even though he and I had great conversations. That intimacy of kissing was missing for me. |
