| I am pretty happy with the rest of my body, but my legs are rough looking. Have you used anything, program that made a difference for you? |

Running works for me. I saw the most difference when I started running at least 7 miles on at least one run per week (plus at least 2 other runs per week).
I also started incorporating videos from Jari Love and Pauline Nordin's "Butt Bible." |
| Heavy lifting. Squats and deadlifts will get you there in no time. Everything else will take a long time (and a lot more work) to get the same results. |
LOVE Pauline!! |

+1 for running. I have always been skinny without working out, but have had cankles since my early 20s. Started running (built up from 0 miles per week to 20 miles per week) and my legs have finally taken on a nice shape.

Squats, squats, squats. Maybe throw some lunges in there. With heavy weights once you've got the form down. I've always been athletic (swimming, biking), but nothing has toned and leaned out my legs like lifting weights. |
| Work with a trainer to learn how to squat, there's many details to account for if you want to do it right and less intimidating to do it solo in the freeweight room aka testerone pad. I could write a 3 page synapse on it. Same with deadlifts, the other "king" compound exercise. 5lb or 10 lb weights will not cut it, you'll need to lift generally heavy. |
