Au contraire! There is a bidding war up into the thousands on some of the original Disney costumes and I just read and article talking about how they underestimated the retail success that would be the result of the movie.

my 4 year old's first philosophical conversations have all centered around Frozen, which also happened to be the first movie he's seen in a theater. Snippets of our conversation, last night, at 9 pm, when I'm desperately trying to get him to go to sleep.
Mommy, why did Elsa turn mean? Mommy, are special powers always bad? Mommy, why did Hans pretend to love Anna? Mommy, what happened to their parents? Mommy, is Kristof Elsa and Anna's daddy now? Mommy, why did Elsa turn mean? (again) Mommy, do I have special powers? Mommy, can I have a snowman like Olaf? Mommy, why is Elsa so mean? etc.... |
