| We really like and can actually afford this house. But it's right across the street from a Taco Bell. Clearly it's caused potential buyers to pass since it's been on the market for awhile. This would probably not be our forever house, so I'm worried about selling it down the road. |
| I would. And I'd eat those Cool Ranch Tacos every day and blow up 40 lbs in a month. |
| Do headlights shine into your windows? |
Haha. I am concerned our boys would end up eating far too much Taco Bell. |
That would be my only concern. TB is open until like 3 AM. |
I think they would around one of the turns. But there are few windows at the front. |
| absolutely not. You are right to worry about being able to sell down the road |
This is a very good point. |
Generally speaking, houses are in fixed locations, so not sure it is even physically possible to sell it down the road. |
| I wouldn't buy a house on a main thoroughfare, and I don't know of any Taco Bells on residential streets. |
I think I love you. |
| Is it a house or a condo? A condo in an urban area that just happens to have a taco bell in front of it (but many other restaurants surrounding the condo), I'd say sure. A house, though, probably not. However, it depends on the area, and what else surrounds it. I'm imagining those houses near the Burke Taco Bell, and I believe the KMart, etc. I wouldn't buy those houses that are directly by there. Maybe ones that are tucked in more. |
| Taco Bell usually has a large parking lot around it. No thanks. |
It's a house. And it's pretty close-in NOVA. |
So, it's near the Taco Bell/KFC on Lee Highway. Which side of Lee is the house? North side, I assume, as not much residential across Lee. Just more commerce. |
