would you live across the street from a Taco Bell?

Generally speaking, houses are in fixed locations, so not sure it is even physically possible to sell it down the road.

I think I love you.

Thank you. I will be here all day.

I'd be worried about people congregating in the parking lot at midnight making noise.

No, but I like the idea of fast food convince. It is open late too... get your 1 am snack.

I know someone who lives near a fast food place and at night it's really annoying to hear YOU WANT COMBO at 2am. over and over again.

If you are serious about this house, you should check out the Taco Bell site, including around the back. Do they seem to manage their trash well, or are there wrappers, etc blowing around the parking lot (and maybe onto your future property). Are there kids hanging around there late into the night? Check crime stats and police call records, if available, for the location.

TB is a popular late-night, after drinks spot (because it is open). Would not want to live near it, or a Denny's!

I wouldn't buy it. Keep saving and buy in a couple of years. Or live with the fact that you too may face several months trying to sell it. #1 rule of real estate - location location location.

Also, do not underestimate the cooking smell. I live about a third/half a mile from a Wendy's and, if the wind flows just right you can smell it in my neighborhood. There are homes that back up to the place and I don't know how they can stand the almost constant smell.

I would not. I would, however, buy a house a couple blocks away from a Taco Bell because the cool ranch doritos locos tacos make me happy. (I live near the taco bell the earlier PP mentioned, and I poured one out for my fallen homey when they closed the pizza hut inside it.)

Not in front of the Taco Bell, however, did someone mention KFC? I would just for those hot wings.
