| I almost always go and I didn't today. I feel horrible about it. My kids are both sick and honestly sometimes I hate the normal hype of Easter with all of the fancy dresses for a day, even though our church wouldn't be phased if we wear jeans. The sermons on Easter am are almost always trying to convert sinners. As a Christian I am looking for something deeper maybe? |
| Yes, and ours was fantastic today! I went with my 9 and 6 year old. First time in years, as we've been going to the family service for the last few years. I had so missed the wonderful (adult-oriented) Easter music and the stirring words of the sermon. Ours was not a message to convert sinners (which of course we all are) but to receive the grace of the good news, and why we know it is true. Christ is risen! |
| Took my dog, too. |
| No. I was at the beach, overslept and missed it. |
| I sang in the choir so it was Saturday night and four services today! You might try a church that has live streaming so you can watch online when you just can't go. I love that on mornings when I feel the need to stay under the covers at 9:00am. He is Risen! |

Yup.
|
Yes. But our sermon was on family gathering together and how hard it is to get kids to dress nice for church.
Thank goodness those days are past. I wouldn't worry about it. |
| Standing room only at our church! |
|
Yes, we went today. We go almost every Sunday but if my kids were sick, we wouldn't have! Don't worry about it, OP.
Maybe think about switching churches if you are genuinely disillusioned. |
| yes. Not trying to convert sinners, just celebratory. |
Same here. I love the music (church had a 10 piece orchestra today and those trumpets are amazing!) and the whole Mass was simply beautiful! |
| No. Haven't since I was a teen and never will again. |
| No. I haven't gone on Easter since I moved out of my parents' house. |
| Converting sinners is what it's all about! The Great Commission. People get to live filled with the Holy spirit -- and fewer souls in hell and more in heaven! |
| Nope, I went to Easter vigil last night. OMG, it was the longest mass I've ever attended. |
