| Worth noting that Lively requested the dailies be destroyed in September 2025, about a month after the date she argues that WF should have been aware of the possibility of litigation. |
Is it an interesting take? I don’t think celebrities who are trying to sell aspirational brands like hair products and star in movies want to have two years worth of headlines about a major court case, but I’m certainly not an expert. People would have moved on from this in August 2024. Her reputation had taken a major hit, but it would’ve died down. Yet here we are two years later and it still constant headlines and we are two weeks away from the trial talking about how she wanted to destroy dailies, reading documents she wanted to be sealed, and reading reports about how poorly all her brands are doing and how companies are spooked. I don’t think these are conversations Blake wants about her but again, I’m not an expert. Would love to hear your take on why this is maybe a good thing for Blake? I just don’t think they ever thought it would get this far and I certainly don’t think they wanted a trial. |
| I’d put money on the likelihood that Blake though the dailies for the dance scene has been destroyed. The birth scene as well. ooops. |
I’m truly confused about what happened here. My understanding is that Sony was just the distributor and Wayfarer owns the material so I’m not sure Sony could just tell Wayfarer at Blake‘s request to destroy the dailies. I’m wondering if just to placate Blake because she was so difficult sony was like sure Blake it’s done don’t worry about it. But her lawyers can’t be that stupid, right? I do think she didn’t think mics had picked up the dance scene. But even stupider to assume it didn’t exist. |
Normally when someone files a law suit and it survives pretrial challenges to go to trial, that is not considered "losing". |
I would love to take your money from you on this. |
You are right, this trial has been great for Blake and Ryan! Their careers have never been hotter. Delusional. |
Normally when someone accuses another person of sexual harassment and a federal judge throws out all those claims it is considered “losing.” |
| I'm not even going to bother quoting the long-winded drivel of Blake's shill. You are not convincing anyone by being deliberately obtuse or twisting things (deny it all you want but that's what you're doing) to pretend Blake was an innocent victim in all of this. I am not a Justin "fan". I do not need to be to see the situation for what it is. There's a certain point where it's not about interpreting the facts differently. Spin may have worked for Reynolds/Lively before but they have been exposed for their machinations. Blake was always professional in her correspondence with Justin? I guess so since the ballbusting was never with teeth. Justin should not complain that Reynolds openly mocked him? Only Blake has the right to complain and complain about nothing. Lily Allen/David Harbour was totally the same thing. You convinced me Reynolds should be allowed to be petty since Harbour who was a cheater and sex- addict didn't complain. Change your strategy because your current one is desperate, long-winded and unconvincing. |
The public didn’t know but Hollywood insiders knew and those are Justin’s peers. It must have been humiliating for him. Blake and Ryan were defaming his character to literally anyone who will listen. Cute that Blake now wants to talk about digital violence after she and Ryan made a caricature of Baldoni in a major motion picture and blew him up in front of a flower shop. |
Not OP but you don’t have to take our word for it. Blake perceived herself to be more powerful because she was. You can look at what Blake and Taylor have said. Taylor: “welcome to Hollywood Justin”. Taylor: “bring a tiny violin to a knife fight”. We know the tiny violin refers to Justin b/c she said it in a text to Blake. So in this lyric she’s saying he’s outgunned. Blake: “I’m khaleesi and I happen to have a few dragons” |
| And It Ends . . . With a Settlement. Guess Blake realized a trial wouldn't benefit her after all. |

Attorneys for Baldoni and Lively issued a joint statement on Monday.
"The end product — the movie “It Ends With Us” — is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life," Bryan Freedman, Ellyn Garofalo, Michael Gottlieb, and Esra Hudson said in a statement. "Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors — and all survivors — is a goal that we stand behind." The lawyers said they "acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard." "We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments. It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment," the statement continued. https://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/pop-culture-news/blake-lively-justin-baldoni-reach-settlement-ends-us-case-rcna258456 |
