GA partnered with MLS Next. Several MLS owners hold stakes in NWSL clubs. USL is is trying to form a competitive alternative. And NWSL topplayers are leaving for Europe because they make more money there.

I'd say that NWSL Next is closer than people think.

Anyway, I would think NVA probably comes in as the favorite, EVEN AFTER LOSING TOO TALENTS WHO MOVED TO ECNL Clubs. VRSC only has two good years. Same for SYC.

A 2nd division league that's managed by NWSL costs $$$.

Partnering with GA the way MLS works with MLSN is free for NWSL outside of the Acadamies + you'd have a defined under contract pipeline of players.

No need to reinvent the wheel just copy MLSN.

A second division and academies are very different things. Second division is definitely needed quickly.

Academies are very expensive.
