Gaza war and College Campus Protests

The rescued hostage is Qaid Farhan al-Qadi, 52, from a Bedouin community near the southern city of Rahat, who was working as a guard at a packing factory in Kibbutz Magen on October 7. Al-Qadi was abducted by Hamas terrorists from the nearby community of Mivtahim.

This made me so happy to hear! I wish Hamas would RELEASE the rest of the hostages. That's the pressure the world needs to be exerting now.

This is amazing news. You’d think that the thread would be at the top with people rejoicing. Seeing him reunited with his family is pure joy.

Did you see the video of his family running through the hospital to get to him? Every life we can reclaim from terrorism is a joy and a miracle.

Good for the IDF special forces. Great way to start the day with this news.

Rescued hostage Qaid Farhan al-Qadi to Israeli President Herzog: “People are suffering there. Do everything you can to bring people home. Work 24 hours, don’t sleep until they return. People are really suffering, you can’t imagine. Suddenly, I heard someone speaking Hebrew outside the door, I couldn’t believe it, I couldn’t believe it. I thank you very much.”

The President emotionally said to him: “Dear Farhan, how moving it is to hear your voice! Our brother has come home. Our brother has returned!”

Now I don't condone vandalism...but until their voices are heard....college campuses will continue this.

You make it seem like colleges have never seen a protest before. If it wasn't for this it'd be for something else. You don't see vandalism everyday, but that's a problem for the colleges.

Last year was not normal college protesting.

Most colleges have spent the summer figuring out what's going to work. And what's not. The NYTimes had a good article about it.

There's always going to be a space for free speech within certain parameters. Cross the lines, and colleges are making it pretty clear they will be swift and merciless with the suspensions and expulsions.

As they should be.

Universities allowed the protests to mutate into a hostile learning environment for Jewish students.

An antiSemitic environment of hate.
This is why critical theory is so toxic. The far left views Palestinians as a victim. Therefore they can do no wrong. Even Hamas terrorism is cheered by these lunatics.

We have one of those lunatics here on the thread, and she is allowed to post her hate and use Zionism as an insult. That is promoting hate and engaging in hate speech.

Hate speech is constitutionally protected in the US. Thank God or you would have everyone who disagrees with you inprisoned...

Every recovered hostage will be a little less leverage for Hamas? May this end soon so Israel and Gaza can rebuild.

The 40,000 palestinians who have supposedly died in Gaza were all Hamas fighters.

As it stands, this errant pile of protoplasm is allowed to slander others as “lunatics”, label their stone cold sober views as “hateful”, all while lap-digging their hero Netanyahu, the early 21st century’s Hitler.

<phew> Thank goodness for that Ashkenazi might in handling the tedious work of spell checking! Genocide and keyboard editing, so multi-talented!

* Don’t cry and complain about the Ashkenazi mockery, y’all brought that on yourselves by leaning in on the racist, debunked-by-scholars nonsense of the BC and trying to convince others of the laughably absurd premise of … wait for it … your superiority over all others.

Such a common theme. Is there a family history of insecurity around the subject of intellectual vitality? Is it because the entire charade is based on the belief that a burning bush called the shots for all of humanity, elevating you above others?

I’m Scandinavian Lutheran. We don’t much buy into the whole burning bush thing.

I’m more concerned by a bunch of half-a**ed foreign nitwits polluting US airwaves with their nonsense.
