Why, what did YOU think?
|
| I dunno... |
That doesn't sound good. |

I was glad to hear the news that they intend to stay in Ward 5 after they move out of Shaed.
|
| That's old news. They have consistently said they would stay in Ward 5 within a mile of their current location. |
| The sense of enthusiasm among attendees was...not quite palpable. |
| Why? Could it be because people don't know about Montessori and are nervous? |
Given the difficulty charter schools have securing good buildings, I just don't understand how they can promise that. |
| They apparently already have a place in mind and have been in discussions. |
| I think I expected people to be hugging and jumping up and down or something - "we got in!" |
| I actually left excited. I think the problem was all the kids there. Kids are restless & tired at that hour and it's hard for all to be focused with kids crying, shouting, etc. we're all there because we have kids but I don't know why some entire families came. Seriously both parents & toddlers & babies. Send one and the other can get the recap at home. Plus, it's hard to get worked up when there's no space to see yet. |
| I am happy that they did not discourage folks from bringing kids but people should use their judgment and try where possible not to bring kids. |
| We're excited too. Montessori, daily language, and fun after care programming.... I'm sure there will be growing pains along the way, but we feel grateful to be matched and optimistic for the school. |
| Really? Which languages? In aftercare? |
