Last we heard, the kids "loved" that J Lo and A Rod were a blended family. It's a PR spin to put a positive spin on beginning a new relationship and going off for weekends so soon after the breakup of a supposedly almost married couple. Maybe in your world, parents act like this. It's not a loving, responsible way to parent.

The In Touch source is Jen’s PR firm. Of course they’re saying this is what the kids want, it makes a better story! No kid goes from loving mom’s boyfriend and his kids one minute to wanting mom to be with someone else the next. Watch- you won’t see quotes about Ben’s kids and they’ll never meet JLo bc Jen Gardner knows this is all for PR and isn’t going to allow her kids to come anywhere near this hot mess.

Oof. I wonder what Jennifer Gardner and Ben Affleck‘s phone conversations have been like lately.

Anyways, two exes want to hook up, hang out ...how does it matter? They are celebs and BA is not any more horrible than ARod who is basically a tool.

Good for JLo to dump the cheating ARod. She is with BA for just rubbing ARod's face in the fact that she can get her jollies too. I think it is sweet for BA and JLo to be each other's FWB in the truest sense.

ARod was a step down for JLo but she did think that he would be a good partner. His whoring around was something that JLo would not tolerate. She has always been very wise about safeguarding her family, her heart and her career. She dumped PDiddy because of the gun violence without a thought. She is nobody's fool.

Eh, I imagine she has learned to cultivate a detached approach, like most women who have been married to and divorced a thin skinned narcissist/hothead. She's moved on, she knows she can only control herself. Then she and her boyfriend talk together about what a limited person he is. And she counts her lucky stars it's over and he's not her problem. While feeling badly for their children and trying to model some emotional availability unlike the new couple.

Jennifer is a lost cause. She never felt worthy given her background and despite her immense wealth and fame, never feels like sh measures up. Ben was her ticket to "the other side" one which never accepted her. Heck even his own mom would not acknowledge Jennifer Lopez.

To me, she is a sad woman. Putting her own selfish needs above those of her kids who no doubt are getting screwed up because of their mom behaving in a way lets say moms should to behave. I feel sorry for them.

I think it's easier to be relaxed and care free before you have children, a demanding, high profile career and what I am sure are many other business, corporate and entertainment responsibilities. She has a comiplicated life and children approaching adolescence. Nothing is realistically simple and relaxing for long with her life or the life of most adults with children quite honestly. It's a fantasy. That's the point some are making.sure she can enjoy it while it lasts, eventually she will rejoin reality.

So the fact that a Boston Brahman like Affleck's mother was not thrilled is not surprising. No one is accepted by everyone. She's uneducated and she had been married before, is incredibly high maintenance and that's how it goes.
