Meghan thought she was in for a major upgrade, proximity to the White House etc., "Take this, Jim!" His response that he felt nothing, and felt like he barely knew her, was perfect. Don't get me wrong, I think neither is a remotely admirable human being, but she is certifiable.

Her post about the hotel room getaway and feeling like they'd been married for "a million years" was telling. Suggests no sexual chemistry even though they'd only been together for a few months total. She married for all the wrong reasons, and is ridiculous.

He probably had an oh crap what did I get myself into moment after their whirlwind romance ended and reality set in after the wedding. The novelty of a ready made family may also have quickly worn off upon realization of how much work it requires, especially when your partner is a nut.
