What was wrong with Dorinda's food and beverages? What do you think a Southerner would have done to be better? |
Anyone who says that Dorinda doesn’t know how to entertain is crazy. What fabulous dishes would a Southerner serve? |
100% I would LOVE to be invited to Dorinda's - she is a fabulous hostess and I thought it was very clever to set some house rules for this trip since there have been issues in the past. These women mostly don't have help in their own homes every day in the city, why would they think her housekeeper should pour every glass of wine?!? |
Seeing Dorinda's decorations put me in the holiday spirit even though it's May! Bethenny is always invalidating people's feelings. When she had no other argument she started saying Carole was scaring her? Really? She is so demeaning. |
Well, yeah, but that “someone” was Luann, who, a few weeks afterwards, would be so snockered that she threatened to kill a police officer and landed her ass in jail. |
The entire murder mystery solving made no sense. One guy died. A second one died. Millisecond later Dorinda solves the mystery and says let’s eat but no one recaps the solving or how the murdering was done for anyone else. Bizarre. |
Carole is super petty and really insecure, Bethany really owned her that night.... |
I don't know I just wish bethenny and Carole would make up. I love them as besties. I actually think Tinsley is the issue. She has worked her way into a coziness with Carole and has caused the rift with bethenny imo. |
I'm already hoping for the reunion where they finally get to the nitty gritty details of the Bethenny/Adam thing... I DO care what day/whether it was a call, etc... The details make the story... the more details a person has wrong like Carole did, the more I think they are lying.
I think Bethenny's slow/calm reaction was shock- she seemed shocked Carole was (lying/had misinformation from Adam) because every detail was wrong- it was relevant to me because the whole point is that it seems Adam sold a different story to Carole, or that she is working too hard to defend him. Like Bethenny said, Carole apparently made a comment like 'good for him- he's a hustler'. I think Bethenny really didn't want to talk about Carole's man... she learned her lesson with LuAnn/Tom, but was also like 'yeesh do YOU have it wrong'... Agree I also need a recap of the murder mystery- two back to back deaths, then Dorinda saying 'I did it, bitches, let's EAT/DRINK!' seemed par for the course for their franchise. It was funny she plans these elaborate things in the Berkshires and wants everyone 'nice' and playing along, but then she wrecks her own event by shooting it down and ending the game. Unless it was some heavy editing for some boring details that didn't advance the interpersonal squabbles. |
Not that good of food - weird combinations Bad presentation Didn’t see any nice linens Serving platters don’t match or go together Doesn’t look “right” |
I think the Adam thing is a little overblown and B is overreacting and sort of talking sh*t in front of cameras to make him look bad (they know what they say and when they say it with cameras rolling), but also Carol probably got a different version from Adam that made him look a little bit better. As usual, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.
Here's how I see it: B was going to Houston (wasn't even PR) with a group and they wanted a photographer to go- made sense to ask Adam and she suggested him since he's part of the RH "brand" and it helps raise more awareness and gives him an opportunity too. She gave his contact info to one of her people (didn't sound like she asked him directly). They contacted him the weekend before the trip. He responded something to the effect of, "I have a paid gig- will there be any compensation?" Arguably, this is kinda d*ck seeing as it was a disaster and for charity and your brand (IG followers) will be furthered by being there with B and posting about it and getting photo creds too, but that's just him being shortsighted. They responded, "no. it's charity" He said, "well, I'm sorry, I have a conflict that is paid that I don't want to break." We don't know his finances. He seems like a flighty "entrepreneurial" millennial who survives on gigs. Carol said something to the effect of "he needed to be paid that week." Again, it was probably dumb of him not just to go, especially now that his character is being questioned. B probably saw it as doing Adam a favor that he dismissed and got peeved. It coincided with her and Carol growing apart as Carol starting hanging out couples time with Tinsely and crew and B got overall bad vibe. BUT, it does sound like Adam was asked pretty last minute (whether Saturday or Sunday) and Carol is right to defend him since B's blanket statement "he wanted money" isn't exactly the whole picture. Anyway, I like both of them, but clearly they're just at different places right now and not supporting each other's endeavors (C feels slighted about B not being at the marathon, B feels like she has a new calling with charitable work and C isn't wanting to be involved because she's too busy doing nothing with T). Whew- done over analyzing this silly show... but I do enjoy it. ![]() |
I think it was edited because it was way boring as opposed to the Bethenny and Carol conflict. |
Agree. It was forced and pretty boring actually. |
