Wow. That was the crudest, most vulgar and hateful rally I have ever watched.

What I saw was sexist vulgarity against women, and racist comments against nearly every minority group in the US:
1. Clinton and Harris were both called sexist insults. Harris was said to have pimps and have low IQ.
2. Puerto Ricans were called garbage. Latinos were accused of having sex with the country and having lots of babies because of their pullout method.
3. Palestinians were stone-throwers.
4. Jews were cheapskates.
5. I'm sure I'm missing lots of other insults. Oh yes! The Black person in the audience was told something about watermelons but I didn't catch what it was.

Good God, have you never watched stand up before?

So many delicate flowers on here

It isn't our fault that you don't understand why this was problematic. Maybe you need to get out of your bubble?

Yeah. "Jokes" like this are met with silence because, let's set aside how offensive they are, they are not actually funny.

Like for example someone told me a joke the other day about how now with Dobbs there will need to be a "Uterine Railroad". Is it a little offensive to compare the post Dobbs US to slavery? Yeah. But it's also kind of funny. The above "jokes" are not funny.

Man, for people that get super upset when you point out the crappy education, health care, and infrastructure in red states (all things Trump didn't do jack to fix in any way) you are sure blase about telling the same to Puerto Ricans.

this is really some rally

Uh, I'm an American citizen, many generations over. Where exactly am I to be deported to?

This rally is certifiably insane. Is the media going to fail us yet again with some watered down version of what happened this evening?

Probably. But it was insane enough that the media might not be able to contain the GOP’s contempt for everyone.

Not defending them, but did Trump really have many Puerto Rican supporters? He basically sh** all over the island and threw paper towels at hurricane victims.

Wtf? This is like a Dickensian grab-bag of villains. Could they be any more villain-y? Just a rally full of creeps led by an old creep.

Sadly, there is no lack of utter trash people in this country. That's one thin that's become very clear in the last nine years. It's really sad,

He looks and sounds tired.

So what has he said that is “nazi?”

Anyone?

I am listening live…I don’t hear anything nazi related. But surely you all have heard nazi talk- so quote it.

then you don't know history or studied the rhetoric of Nazi Germany.

That is a you problem.

A you problem is seeing nazis behind every bush and shadow because the majority of Americans don’t want to be overwhelmed with illegal immigration.

There are no swastika Trump signs as pp claimed- that’s a lie.

Yeah, if there’s no swastika, it can’t be fascism.

So much gaslighting (also part of fascism).

But America for Americans only… Nur für Deutsche…

Nothing to see here. Move along.

It’s racist to say America is for Americans?

Why should a country not exist for its citizens?

Every country should put its own citizens first.

What country exists to put people from other countries first? America has laws that allow and regulate legal immigration. We do that because we want legal immigrants. What we don’t want (the majority of Americans agree on this) is unchecked illegal immigration.

Democrats want illegal immigration and to allow illegal immigrants to be given the same rights and privileges that American citizens have.

Tell me which countries do not have any immigration laws and allow anyone to walk into their country without following any laws and assume the same rights and privileges that their citizens have, and make sure you cite your answer.

Me again. Just want to reiterate, because it's really shocking, how much it went beyond the misogyny and racism of normal Trump rallies. It's like some of the commentators were on drugs or something. Just unbelievable. And that's after years of being used to "regular" Trump rallies.

This is today's GOP. But for some people it's a feature, not a bug.

I think it’s safe to say he might have managed to lose Pennsylvania, Florida, Wisconsin…

I hope this clip makes the rounds so that potential Republican Latino voters really understand that they will never be in the in crowd. You’ll always just be a floating garbage patch to the GOP, isn’t that lovely?

+1 4% of the population of Pennsylvania is Puerto Rican. Half a million people.

Oh no. A professional comedian made a joke about Puerto Rico. Whatever shall we do?

Make a few commercials in PA and FL, reminding Puerto Ricans that white MAGAs hate everything about them and their culture.

I’m curious about how Bad Bunny will react to this.

Here's what he's done so far

I'm thinking that all that crowing about Rogan's 15 million podcast listeners is going to be a flash in the pan.

And if you think Trump is doing this because he is losing badly, then you are missing a chance to make a lot of money right now because every betting market has him as a pretty heavy favorite given the polls and early results.
P

Hey there, thanks for chiming in! Can you please comment on the clips that have been posted here with speakers at the rally calling Puerto Rico a pile of garbage in the ocean, making racist jokes about black people and watermelon, calling the Democratic nominee a whore, and so on? Are you suggesting these speakers went rogue, no one in the Trump camp knew they would say such things, and that the MAGA crowd disapproved of them?

Thanks for your participation in this discussion.

You may want to step back from the ledge, take a deep breath, and learn to laugh. It may not be your style of humor, but sane people understand it is meant to be edgy comedy and are not offended so easily. This is the problem with the world. Too much reeing, all the while spending all day calling half the country racists and Nazis. Not healthy behavior.

Edgy comedy is when you laugh even though you know you probably shouldn’t. This is just insulting.

Edgy comedy is not blatantly racist, bigoted, and misogynistic. How on god's green earth is any of this funny??

Correction: Edgy comedy isn't blatantly racist, bigoted, and misogynistic ANYMORE. It used to be - in the 80's, you know, Trump's heyday.

Do these bullies realize there are 1 million Puerto Ricans in FL and 500K Puerto Ricans in PA? Do they not know Puerto Ricans are American citizens that can vote? Or are they too cruel to care.

Hubris come and collect this trash.
