Clearly MCPS is not preparing our kids for college.

It still gets rated well, because Maryland cooked the books on test scores. The general interpretation is that they are excellent "for their demographic".

EG in their statistics they "subtract out" variability associated with demographics.

Yeah, we're leaving RHS also. We need good scores, because no one is going to look at my kids' demographics and say pretty good for a white/Asian.

I'm looking at those schools that have great test scores but are dinged for not being diverse.
