The FVU 2010s group will be fine and will figure it out. Top three clubs at that age group coming out of the Mid Atlantic will be:

1. VDA
2. Charlotte SA
3. FVU

The order may change but those three teams will represent the mid atlantic in the playoffs

Wait, the club has a winning record on the girls’ side, and a +24 GD, and that’s a “dire situation”?

I meant no disrespect. Comment was made based on previous posts about the club/team

Are you sure?
After Beach, they have RU, Courage, VDA, Arlington, NVA

I don't see them winning a game after beach

Chat coaches come in three categories. (1) they have full time other non-soccer jobs. These coaches are the best because they strike the right balance overall with pretty much everything. (2) they are making coaching there full time job and have a family to support. It's tough to make a living this way. They have multiple teams, futsal in the winter, super y in the summer, private coaching, maybe something at a school during the day. These coaches are the worst because they are spread thin and are also most susceptible to "outside financial influence". If no family however, this can be OK depending on the coach like someone younger who is doing this for a few years before doing something else. (3) senior director level coaches or the coaches over 55 or 60, they have been doing it for so long that they are secure in their jobs, have good pay, and they are on autopilot. They do things their way and that's it. Could be good, could be average, could be bad but not gonna change either way.

Real, but these are children! (Getting this out of the way before someone else does.)

Tie from today’s 2010 game is surprising but does anyone know what is up with Beach FC? Overall their results have been better than expected, compared to years past. New coach? New players? Other than growing pains from FVU merger and just kids being inconsistent (all of ours are, don’t lie), what else could be the cause?

How long is FVU going to have growing pains?

One more merger and slightly bigger roster to retain talent needed this winter

That way they can still use growing pains in the spring as their excuse
