It’s not whataboutism. Mbappe can be taken out of games like England and Morocco did and in the champions league. The World Cup is not the not the highest level. You have elite players going against lower division player or back up player. Mbappe can be game planned out of the game.

Oh, there are lots of good reasons to like him! I like both. They play very differently -
Mbappé is explosive and an amazing finisher. The speed! Messi was a prolific goal scorer and now he is crafty and is playing chess on the field. I was happy to see Argentina win since France won last time.
