A school ranked 19 is not least likely to fall out, in fact it's most likely besides UCLA. You saying it's 7th in endowment means it underperforms in a lot of other areas.

The endowment increased a lot relatively recently, so they now have more ammunition.

I am an alum. They have been doing an amazing job recruiting professors that are high quality, especially in the sciences and engineering (this is what I know about - they may be recruiting high quality candidates in other fields too). But the DeSantis nonsense really is making some folks reconsider. This will have a long term effect if it continues.
