He's the only 'Democrat' in West Virginia who can win national elected office. He loses tomorrow, its a Republican senator. He goes into a coma tomorrow, its a Republican senator. Why? Because West Virginia is a Republican state led by a Republican governor.

IDK if you're aware or not but the minute Manchin steps aside or switches party, the control of the United States Senate switches over to the GOP. That means no more Biden appointees, nominees, ambassadors, or judges.

ESPECIALLY judges. Biden has flipped the 2nd and 4th circuit courts in a single year. He's put more judges on the bench since the Reagan presidency. This is incredibly important work.

He was never a yes. He dragged this out for months so he can pretend the party killed the deal. If he can’t explain a bill, he should ask another senator or rep who is competent to meet with WV constituents.

They all are but there’s a degree to which they vote for corporate interests over the interests of people in their state. WV is ranked low on income, health care, and economy. Really it’s the red states that should be most supportive of BBB because they’ll benefit the most in dollars. Manchin should think more about the people instead of coal companies.

So why is it a good idea to encourage even more people to come to this country and receive medical care, insurance, housing, food, pre-K through high school education, special education and remedial support, college education, etc at little or no expense to them?
