| We were told by the office that manages the lottery that the "waitlist" letters for the lottery are actually placement letters. Not sure how true that is though. Anyone know the answer? Last year we were #1 on the waitlist. We did not get the official letter confirming our placement and acceptance until July. On the official 2014 timeline it lists 'Lottery Placements are mailed' and 'Lottery Waitlist letters are mailed' as two separate actions. |

| If I read correctly, the timelines says acceptance letters in April and waitlist in May. So it does seem to be two separate actions... |

I appreciate your response. We attended the lottery today and we were told that they are separate items. It is quite interesting because the person from the Pupil & Acct Office who originally told us that they were the same item told us today that they were different. It can be so frustrating to get inaccurate/inconsistent info from the folks who are supposed to have the answers.

| We were told today that they would try to post within 24 hrs. I just checked the site tonight and there is a new link that stated that the special lottery results are in, but when I clicked on the link, it took me right back to the Specialty Program page. |

| Last year we received a letter saying DC was on the wait list the day after the school called to offer her a spot. |

| #28 on the list for K. We were told that the Pupil Office is thinking about doing a monthly update (not determined yet) so that folks can see movement in the list. I am hoping they will do some form of update before late in the summer. |

Good luck! The best we ever did in the lottery was 24th for K and never got off the waitlist. I hope it works out for you. Showing wait list movement would be very helpful as we had no clue where we stood after the original notification and just never got the spot. |
