2014 PG Lottery

And we lost in the lottery again. We have tried every year for at least one of our kids and have never gotten a spot. This is the 4th time in a row to not get a spot at Glenarden Woods for the eldest. Ugh. Another year of private school tuition for us. I have a feeling that's going to be the case until high school when it is grade/score based and not random after meeting a minimum cutoff.

No luck for me #159 for thomas pullen, to young for TAG, to old for spanish immersion. Oh well maybe next year.

Good luck! The best we ever did in the lottery was 24th for K and never got off the waitlist. I hope it works out for you. Showing wait list movement would be very helpful as we had no clue where we stood after the original notification and just never got the spot.

Thanks for the luck. We will need it. Just like many others, we have the pending contract for our child's private school looming. So that means the number we got is truly for the pool of K applicants and not out of the entire pool of applicants for the school in question.

Do you all know if they're going to post complete wait lists like they did with charters? Curious about the length of the lists/total no. of applicants.

Hello, I'm new here. Got #254 for Glenarden Woods 2nd grade. So this means we have no chance to get in, right?

No chance at all. Sorry. We've been in position. Paid for private.

Same here and we had a friendlier number than that and still didn't in.

The French immersion program added a whole new K class since the program is moving to the old greenbelt middle school space. So they will have four K classes!

Do any other schools add classes?
