Any paint suggestions for walls with off-white cabinets and black granite countertops? Paint would be in kitchen and family room. Both rooms get a decent amount of sunlight.
Thanks! |
sage green? |
That's what my sister did and it looks beautiful. But you could do almost anything- what color do you want your kitchen to be? |
that's what I was going to say or a warm grey if you have some strong color from somewhere else - artwork, pillows, etc. |
I have off white cabinets with black granite. Walls are a lt grey |
Love yellow with black and cream. Very French. |
you will rue the day you installed black granite |
Taupe. |
We have off white/charcoal with pale gray walls. (And I don't regret the dark counters at ALL. ) |
It's timeless |
Be sure to take into account the colors of the backsplash and floors when choosing a wall color.

We have SW killim beige in our black and white bathroom. I really like it, but I don't think id like it in a kitchen.
I painted our horrible cabinets white last summer. We have black countertops. The back splash is white subway. When I started, I intended to paint the walls yellow, but our dining room is yellow and I decided that might be boring. So after a lot of trial and error, I ended up with SW ryegrass. It is really terrific. It is the color shown here http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/the-best-green-paint-color-100119 |
If you want a bit more color than grey, a nice light blue with lots of grey in it would look nice. |
Love Love LOVE the ryegrass color, but worried it could make offwhite look yellow? |
I'd use this color:
