FYI, a nice review and photo gallery in today's Post. They look really nice but $715,000 seems a little pricey to me, even with all the amenities.

I lived in that area for 12 years, and personally, I wouldn't pay $715K for a townhouse that feeds into schools that are pretty low-ranked for Fairfax. For that price, you can find a SFH feeding into Woodson or Marshall.
I do like what they've done with the Mosaic district. I won't lie - I'm bitter that all that stuff came in after I sold my place and moved back to Arlington. Would have been awesome to have a Target and a Taylor gourmet. |

| I can't tell--do they all come fully furnished or was that just a special display model that WaPo reviewed? If so, that might explain the higher price. |

+1 we lived in our TH (up the hill by Pan Am shopping ctr) and moved out to Springfield right as Mosaic was getting built. I too am a little envious off the variety of stores and shops and an awesome new movie theater. |

Those are so far out of my price range, but they're nice. I actually live in the little townhouses behind Pan Am (hi, former neighbor!) and I'm really glad all this stuff has moved in, but I wish I could be that close to that much stuff and to Dunn Loring. Hey, one less stop, right?
I also really, really wish Mosaic had a library branch, but that's a separate complaint/wish. |

Yeah. Lots of these new areas are really just nice outdoor malls. No civic space, no community, no playgrounds! Just shopping... |

Good job of twisting PP's comments, but inaccurate insofar as Mosaic is concerned. One more reason why Falls Church is appreciating more than Arlington now. |

| I work in the Mosaic District and wouldn't purchase there until they got rid of all the crummy industrial areas that are still mixed in there (including an indoor refuse transfer station). There is also an ICE jail in the basement of one of the office buildings. |

Strawberry park is a small triangle lot of grass between the main mosaic rd and the theater. Calling it a park is... creative. |
