And I thought Justin had back trouble and financial trouble. Everyone involved will live

Make some sense. Not perfect sense, just try for “some.”

So good is people not booing?

It really is a shame that Blake and Ryan didn't get invited to the Superbowl so you all could say Taylor was booed because of them. I know that would have been so exciting.

What is it about Blake and Ryan that you love so much?

I don't think anyone here likes them, but the posts are so over the top that I sort of want of them to succeed.

I am trying to understand this. You want someone who lied about being SH to succeed because of posts on dcum?

This poster is an absolute gobshite. She’s repeatedly tried to get the thread shut down, repeatedly reported on-topic posts, repeatedly attacked people as “Baldoni bots” (because she’s an idiot) and misogynists (because she’s an idiot, the sequel).

Blake and Ryan are stupid a$$hole$ who other stupid a$$hole$ feel a kinship with. It is what it is.

Da but +1111!!!! Hollywood and morals don't go together. They don't care. Look at how many of them are begging to have Kevin Spacey welcomed back in.

Baldoni’s lawyer is the one who represented Spacey and successfully got him out of trouble. The lawyer was also accused of rape himself back in college but settled the case out of court.

So he was retained and won the case, doing his job. I don’t know a thing about his college case. Clients need a litigator who can win, and the most self-described principled one I’ve met had skeletons in the closet.

You know it’s desperate times when they start coming for the lawyer.

SNL thing was a signal her obnoxious husband is throwing her under the bus to try and save his own career. Maybe they divorce, maybe not, but Blake’s career is ova.

I don't like Blake Lively but watching people ride this hard for some guy named Justin Baldoni who seems incredibly fake and annoying is wild.

I'm Team No One but I get why people on both sides feel as they do (I just think there's not enough evidence to take a side). But it's weird to me that people are defending Baldoni like he's Princess Diana. Who even is he? I checked out his website and tried to listen to his podcast and he's just... awful. Like I said, I also don't like Lively and I think the jury's out on which one is telling the truth, but I don't get why so many people are ride or die for this guy. He's incredibly grating.

Because he appears to be the victim. It is irrelevant whether you personally find him grating. Grating is not a crime.

Agree. I’ve said it before that I would likely find Justin terribly self important and insufferable ans many actors seem to be, but he really didn’t deserve all this. Being accused of sexual harassment in 2024 is career ending. And seemingly Ryan and Blake wanted to do it on a whim so she could get control of a crappy movie? It just is beyond cruel and sociopath.

PP here. I don't have a problem with people who think he's in the right here. I just think it's weird how there seem to be these people who have become devoted *fans* based on his victimhood here. Have you heard him talk? He's really irritating.

I think another reason I don't get it is because even if it turns out Lively totally lied and he 100% for sure didn't harass her (again, I think the jury's out and that we really don't know enough to assess), I am getting the sense based on what I've learned about him that he and his co-producer, the Heath guy, may still have created a weird, unprofessional environment. That doesn't automatically mean sexual harassment and perhaps there's no sexual harassment here, but even some of the stuff they admit to doing, I'm like "oh no my dudes, you can't do that at work." Like if they didn't actually harass her I hope they are vindicated, but when you do some of the stuff that they even admit to doing, I think it greatly increases the odds that someone is going to accuse you of harassment by taking something the wrong way, and I think they have some culpability here.

Because again, deeply grating and annoying personality. His whole "male feminist" thing is clearly half marketing ploy, have narcissism. That doesn't mean he's a harasser. Again, I'm keeping an open mind. But I think it's misguided to think of him as an innocent victim (I also think it's misguided to think of Lively that way, I just don't see anyone doing that here which is why I'm not addressing that).

It’s also possible that him being “grating”/socially challenged is what made him easy to target. That would have made it easier for Blake to use her own social capital to get other people to stand with her. If you watch the clips of Nicepool (and believe it depicts Baldoni), you can see that behavior at work. Cool kids picking on the “dork.” It’s pretty twisted, as Nicepool really never even does anything (other than is annoying). Then he gets his head blown off.

They are allowed to not like the guy. It’s what they did after that is incredibly bullying.

You have a weird approach. Most of us aren’t “picking sides” based on personalities, but going off the documents and videos that have been released that relate to the allegations. I’m quite confident I wouldn’t befriend any if these people IRL, but that has nothing to do with how I evaluate their behavior.

Ry is a megalomaniac. There is no way a wife would be okay with this.

But the hypocrisy is really what gets to me. We have seen several instances where Blake was completely inappropriate to Justin. From Ryan’s text saying he would tattoo the line producers name in the area between his balls and ass….Sorry that’s inappropriate

Blakes weird rant about how ball busting is her love language and it’s so yummy and never with teeth… bizarre and completely inappropriate text to send to the director and producer of your movie.

Footage of Blake, aggressively adjusting Justin in a scene, pulling him towards her, kissing him unscripted. Rules for me, but not for thee.

And then just the blatant lies that we’ve caught her in. And just the overall extortion. Constantly threatening in writing from her lawyers to walk away from the production after millions had been spent. I mean, it’s nothing less than extortion.
