I live in Falls Church and don't want to travel too far, but would also like to get away from the usual haunts and try something new. Where would you go for a special meal?

Have you tried 2941? Also, Ovvio near the Dunn Loring Metro is suppose to be good.

I took my husband to Rustico in Balston for his birthday. We had a great time and the food was fabulous.

Ovvio is good. We also recently tried the Trio Grill on Lee Highway and were very impressed, I'm definitely going back there for our next kid-free night out .

Passion Fish in Reston Town Center is really good- it may be a little far for you. Otherwise- Nostos is always delicious and a great atmosphere. 2941 is always wonderful for a special occassion.

There is a Passion Fish that just opened up in Falls Church/Vienna, next to Dunn Loring Metro.
