I hope they're done so they can start forming and announcing all the divisions/conferences.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Our moves are done, now I want to know what it's all going to look like. Part of me also wants to see what the team we left gets for a schedule as well.

Exactly!!! People need to know who is in the divisions so they can see what the travel is going to look like. Some people need to know asap as tryouts are approaching and the decision to join a team/platform could depend on where the clubs/teams are placed. This goes for all (ECNL, GA, GAA, DPL, DPLO). C'mon already. Get it over with. People are done waiting.

conferences and schedules were announced the second week of August 2024 for this current season, 24/25

That's understandable, however, there was some sort of stability last season. For the most part, everyone knew their conference wasn't changing or possibly only a slight change. I don't foresee many changes to the ECNL, GA conferences but who knows. The others could change drastically with a new league in GAA and clubs getting "promoted" from DPLO to DPL to GAA. Would be nice if they expediated the process this year. Oh wait, they don't care about the parents or kids. Forgot about that.

Schedules can come later but announcing conferences would be beneficial

GA conferences are sure to change will all the new teams added. Current mid atlantic conference is VA/MD/PA teams which isn’t great because diff high school seasons makes scheduling harder. Next year will be VA/NC together which share the same HS season.

did you watch the game? those euro clubs were not good. I doubt but maybe 2 or 3 actual GA teams could have beaten them. why didn't a true GA team play them? the U16 GA national champ? why did they have to put together an "allstar team".

I'm sorry you weren't invited.

GA dominated

my daughter played on the red ream. the European clubs were not that good. would have liked to see them up against her club team or other actual GA teams.

My daughter was on the blue team and I thought the Euros were really good. These are professional clubs women's teams. Not sure what you were looking at.

Yes they are women's academy players for top European clubs. But does anyone know what players they actually brought? Like was it their U16s playing GA U18 all-star teams? Its also Easter week in the UK where most schools are shutdown, boarding schools have long breaks where kids go home, etc. Is it possibly an opt-in model where they brought only players who volunteered to make the trip?

I don't think that was just GA's U18 players ... i believe they had younger players ... the girl from Columbia United is u15

Exactly, one girl was from a local team in my area and she was U16. People just hate

they were all U16.

Thanks mom

Do you think they'll actually wait until August to announce everything? That seems really late.

I was the OP of that comment and not an ECNL hat. Just know the quality in UK and the school calendars being an expat. Am 100% sure they did not bring their A teams.

Ok I guess they like being embarrassed.

Not GAs issue if they choose to lose.

At these ages in EU it is more about the experience and game then winning. Something the US gets backwards with the win at every age mentality.

This isn’t true. There are tournaments and leagues with champions. They keep score.

Something tells me being embarrassed by GA teams won't go down well. Sugarcoat it however you want.

States with May 1 ecnl cutoffs are having tryouts next week. Are they choosing GA or ECNL for 25/26?
